Members of Dorchester Round Table, Dorchester Lions, Dorchester Poverty Action and Dorchester Relief in Need present a new, lightweight wheelchair to Dorchester resident Russell Vine.
Russell, a T12 paraplegic, has taken part in the Lions Fun Run in the past and, once used to his new chair, is planning a journey from Lands End to John O’Groats to raise funds.

Dorchester Round Table’s main fundraising event, Dorchester Carnival, was the biggest and best for many years. With the largest procession for years (55 entries), new events such as an extended Street Fair with specially erected music stage, and a duck race on Sunday, and with continuing popular events such as the 4 legged pub race, Party in the Park, fireworks, Carnival Queen competition and Wynn’s Funfair, there really was something for everyone!
